Two visits to Johnson Creek this year.   The first one in June was just in time for a cold front to pass through.  It was wet, then it was cold.   Summers at Johnson Creek are typically the coldest weather I see all year.   It's not unusual for the temps to dip into the 20s after a cold front passes.
The second trip in August was just the opposite dry, hot and fairly smokey from the late summer forest fires.
