One of our day trips was a flight up to Three Forks, MT (9S5) for lunch at the old Sacagewea Hotel and a visit to the town museum.
The airport is located right next to the town.  There is a creepy auto-unicom that gives you a field advisory in a robot voice.  There are also courtesy bikes located outside the pilots' shack for a quick trip into town. |

The crew takes up up the best spots on the Three Forks ramp.

Courtesy bikes make for any easy 5 min. ride into town for a visit.

The pilots' shack walls are covered with historic aviation goodies.  You could spend half the day just checking them out. |
