N4BQ is my '68 Cherokee 180. I've owned her since '94 and we've traveled all over the country. The longest trip (so far) was from Phoenix, AZ to the Arctic Ocean off of the North Coast of Alaska in the summer of '99.
During my 21 month hiatus from employment in '01 and '02 I logged almost 400 hrs. just flying around the country. I also made two trips to the Rec.aviation* Fly-in at Pinckneyville, IL.
In the spring of '07, the last major upgrade left was completed. N4BQ received a long overdue interior refurbishment.
Notice : This website had to find a new home as of Dec. 2011. If you had old links that pointed to a members.cox.net address, you should just use www.johngalban.com , an address that will work no matter where the site is hosted in the future.

John Galban's Flying Site
Welcome to my flying web site. On this site you'll see some pictures from various adventures over the years.
The pages are listed below in chronological order.
The picture above is N4BQ on the cover of the Piper Owners' Magazine in the July '99 issue.
Update 02/05/13 : To all that regularly check in on this site, my apologies for the lack of updates over the last few years
It's one of thos things that's always "on the list", but never quite gets done. After blocking out a few dozen hours of
spare time, I have added 15 new pages covering 2009 and 2010 and updated some old pages. The rest of the updates
are on their way. The new pages start at "West Yellowstone '09". There are five new backcountry strips on the site :
Smiley Creek, Sulphur Creek, Elk City, Flying B Ranch and West Fork Lodge.
I'm hoping to get the site updated with pages for 2011 and 2012 by the end of February.
